Key Responsibilities (關鍵職責)
1. Product Strategy & P&L Management
• P&L Ownership: Take full responsibility for the product line’s revenue growth and gross margin. Manage the entire product lifecycle from NPI to EOL.
• Roadmap Definition: Define a competitive roadmap for Industrial Wireless APs (WiFi 6/7, Fast Roaming) and IoT Gateways, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
• Business Development: Act as the primary business driver for the product line. Go beyond product definition to proactively identify high-potential market opportunities. Partner closely with the Sales team to formulate account strategies for Key Accounts (KA), ensuring product strategies translate directly into revenue growth.
2. Solution Architecture & SW/HW Integration (軟硬整合方案)
• Integrated Solutions: Lead R&D and PM teams to develop complete solutions, not just hardware boxes. Focus on integrating Edge Computing software, Cybersecurity , and Cloud/SCADA connectivity.
• OT/IT Convergence: Ensure products seamlessly integrate with major PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and support key industrial protocols (Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, MQTT).
• Value-Added Software: Drive the development of management software or edge apps (e.g., Docker containers, Node-RED support) to differentiate from low-cost competitors.
3. Market Development & Go-to-Market (市場開發與 GTM)
• Business Development: Act as the technical evangelist. Accompany Sales teams to visit Key Accounts (KA) and System Integrators (SI) to identify pain points and secure design-wins.
• Vertical Focus: Identify and penetrate high-growth verticals such as AMR/AGV warehousing, Smart Manufacturing, and Energy Management.
• Ecosystem Building: Build partnerships with software vendors or PLC manufacturers to expand the solution ecosystem.
4. Leadership & Cross-functional Orchestration (領導與協調)
• R&D Alignment: Translate market requirements (MRD) into technical specifications (PRD) and prioritize R&D resources to balance innovation with time-to-market.
• Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership and customer-centricity.

Education & Experience
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, EE, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
• Experience: 10+ years in the Industrial PC (IPC), Industrial Networking, or Automation industry, with at least 5 years in a product leadership role.
• Track Record: Proven success in managing a P&L and delivering successful hardware + software products to the global market.
Competencies
• Networking Mastery: Deep understanding of L2/L3 Networking, WiFi Roaming technologies, and Cellular (5G/LTE) applications.
• OT Knowledge: Familiarity with PLC logic and industrial protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA). Experience with protocol conversion is highly preferred.
• Edge & Cloud: Knowledge of Edge Computing architectures (ARM/X86), Linux OS, Container technology (Docker), and Cloud IoT platforms
• Business Acumen: Ability to translate technical features into business value propositions.
• Communication: Fluent in English and Chinese. Capable of negotiating with global customers and internal stakeholders.
• Leadership: Strong influence skills to drive R&D execution without direct reporting lines (Matrix management).
• Aggressive & Hands-on: Willing to dive into details to solve problems while keeping sight of the big picture.
